Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes Review: 1,200 Wipes for €16.42

Actual Pampers Sensitive 80 baby wipes pack showing the product name, resealable lid and 80-count packaging

My Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes review after finishing one 80-wipe pack and starting another: 4.7/5. I ordered the bulk box of 15 packs × 80 wipes (1,200 wipes in total) on October 3, 2026 for €16.42. My girlfriend and I use these wipes daily, mainly as an additional cleaning step after using the toilet. We find them soft, sufficiently wet, effective and stronger than the flushable wipes we bought previously. They have not torn during our normal use, which was a problem with some of those older wipes.

I bought these partly because of concerns about plumbing after our apartment building experienced sewer problems. We no longer want to put wet wipes into the toilet; instead, we dispose of them in the household bin. Pampers Sensitive wipes are expressly not flushable — which fits our decision, although it requires a suitable bin and hygienic handling. The weak point so far is the pack closure: getting one wipe out usually works, but sometimes a second comes along, and the flap needs care to avoid the upper wipes drying a little.

First-hand testing boundary: My purchase was October 3, 2026, one box containing 15 packs of 80 wipes for €16.42. We finished one pack and are using the second; the remaining packs are not yet tested over months. Both adults use the wipes daily, primarily for external personal hygiene after toilet visits; occasionally for a little ordinary dirt or dust. We have not tested them on an infant, and I have not run a laboratory strength, microbiology, dermatology or water-dispersibility study. Product photography here shows the actual bulk carton and individual packs from my order.

Pampers Sensitive Wipes — 4.7/5

Quick verdict: Large, comfortable, well-moistened wipes that have cleaned effectively and held together in our everyday adult use. The bulk price is excellent. The resealable opening is the only regular irritation.

Best for: Households that use wipes frequently and want affordable, resilient, unscented-feeling wipes for external skin cleaning, with bin disposal rather than toilet flushing.

Skip if: You need wipes that can go into the toilet, want a verified plastic-free wipe, cannot store fifteen packs, or need an independently demonstrated disinfectant surface cleaner.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I would buy this size again at a similar price and keep throwing used wipes in the bin.

What I liked

  • Excellent price: around 1.37 eurocents per wipe in my October 2026 order
  • Large and noticeably more robust than some prior flushable wipes I tried
  • Comfortable, soft texture and enough moisture to clean without feeling excessively wet
  • No tearing in our normal use so far
  • No irritation or redness noticed in our own adult use
  • Usually possible to pull a single wipe at a time

What could be better

  • Resealable lid or flap is not particularly reliable if closed carelessly
  • Occasionally a second wipe comes out unintentionally
  • Top wipes may dry somewhat if the opening does not seal properly
  • Not flushable; requires bin disposal
  • My purchased product is labelled “PLASTIC IN PRODUCT”, unlike other variant listings that advertise 0% plastic

Bottom line — 4.7/5: These provide the combination of price, strength, softness and moisture that I wanted. They are better suited to us than the weaker, more expensive flushable wipes we used previously. They are not perfect at dispensing or resealing, and my assessment is limited to the first one-and-a-bit packs rather than a full 1,200-wipe endurance test.

What I bought: 15 packs, 80 wipes each, but only two opened so far

I bought this particular 1,200-wipe bulk box on October 3, 2026 for €16.42. I paid the normal price with my own money and did not receive a gift, promotional compensation or sponsorship. As of this October review, we have finished one 80-wipe pack and started a second. This matters because I can judge short-term dispensing, thickness, comfort and cleaning from daily use, but cannot yet claim that all fifteen packs remain moist after long-term storage.

My girlfriend and I both use them daily, particularly after the toilet. I also sometimes use a wipe for a little household dust or minor dirt, but this is not a tested household disinfectant, and I would not use it as a substitute for an appropriate cleaner on food-preparation surfaces or for infection control.

Strength and thickness: the biggest improvement over my old flushable wipes

One of the clearest differences I have noticed is that these wipes feel sturdy. Some of the flushable wipes we used before could tear when we were cleaning up after using the toilet. That was irritating and reduced confidence in them. Pampers Sensitive feels bigger and stronger to me, and I have not experienced tearing in our current use.

I have not measured sheet tensile strength, thickness, square centimetres or exact dimensions with instruments. These are practical impressions from handling and using them, not a controlled fabric test. But compared with the generic flushable products I remember, the difference is meaningful enough that it is one of my top reasons to repurchase.

I cannot name the earlier brands reliably, so I will not invent competing model names or claim Pampers beats a particular named product in a head-to-head test. My comparison is with the actual, unnamed flushable wipes we used previously.

An individual 80-wipe Pampers Sensitive pack from my bulk box. The wipes feel substantial enough for our use, though the closure deserves improvement.

Cleaning comfort, moisture and skin feel

My main criterion is how reliably a wipe cleans while feeling comfortable. For external adult hygiene after going to the toilet, I find Pampers Sensitive effective, soft and gentle. We generally do not need to struggle to get clean, and the wipe does not feel rough against skin.

The moisture level is well balanced. It does not feel dry and scratchy, but it also does not seem dripping wet or excessively saturated. I think that is a major advantage over a product that is either too thin and dry or so wet that it becomes awkward to handle.

Neither of us has noticed irritation, redness or other skin reactions in our current use. That is encouraging for us, not proof that every sensitive skin type will tolerate the same formulation. We have not tested these wipes on babies and cannot personally judge newborn skin reactions, diaper-rash reduction or effectiveness for diaper changes.

Pampers describes the Sensitive range as fragrance-free, free of ethanol/alcohol and dermatologically tested; those are manufacturer claims about the product range rather than laboratory findings from our review. See the official Pampers Sensitive product page. My own sensory impression is that the wipes are almost neutral-smelling; I have not noticed a distinct perfume.

The only everyday weakness: dispensing and the flap

The opening is convenient enough that I can usually extract a wipe with one hand. Most of the time I get one wipe, as intended. Sometimes two come out together, which is not ideal when the bulk purchase is partly about getting the most out of every sheet.

I also think the resealable lid could be better. If the opening is not pressed closed carefully after use, the wipes near the top can become a little drier. We have not experienced significant deterioration in the pack while using it normally, but the risk of a poorly closed flap is real in daily use. A more secure or obvious closure would remove much of that annoyance.

This observation is based on a pack that is used daily. I have not tested an opened pack left unattended for weeks, nor have I systematically checked unopened packs after long storage. I would keep the opening properly closed each time and use individual packs in rotation rather than opening several at once.

Why I deliberately stopped buying flushable wipes

Do not flush Pampers Sensitive baby wipes down the toilet — put them in the bin.

We had sewer-related problems in our building and became concerned about how wet wipes might affect pipes. We were not able to establish that any specific wipe caused those incidents, but we decided we did not want to contribute to a possible blockage. We now put used wipes in our household rubbish rather than flushing them.

Pampers’ own disposal guidance explicitly instructs users not to flush their wipes. The German Federal Environment Agency explains that wet wipes can retain strength in water, leading to blocked sewers and problems at treatment plants. Even products marketed as “flushable” may be unsuitable for some plumbing systems; check local wastewater guidance rather than relying on a general marketing claim.

Importantly, these wipes are not a flushable toilet paper replacement. For anyone using them as we do after toileting, plan for a lidded, lined rubbish bin and appropriate hygiene. We switched because the strong construction and bin disposal make more sense for our circumstances, but that does not mean their manufacture or disposal has zero environmental impact.

Plastic content: the actual package matters

One thing that would be easy to get wrong is whether Pampers Sensitive is plastic-free. My individual pack clearly says “PLASTIC IN PRODUCT.” The warning is visible in my original packaging photographs and is relevant if avoiding plastic-containing wipes is part of your buying decision.

Pampers sells other Sensitive products specifically advertised with 0% plastic, but I will not transfer that claim onto the product I purchased, because the actual package says otherwise. Regional variants and packaging change over time. Check your specific product label rather than assuming every pack called “Sensitive” uses the same fibre composition.

It is also worth remembering that high wet strength, which I like when cleaning, can make a wipe less appropriate for sewer disposal. Stronger fabric is useful when it goes into the bin, not when flushed.

My actual price: how much did 1,200 Pampers wipes cost?

At €16.42 for 1,200 wipes, the basic arithmetic is excellent. Here is what my October 2026 purchase means per pack and per wipe. I have not added shipping separately because the price and any delivery components were not itemised in my notes.

Unit Calculated cost at my price
Full 15-pack carton (1,200 wipes) €16.42
One 80-wipe pack €1.09 approximately
One wipe €0.0137 (about 1.37 eurocents)
100 wipes €1.37 approximately

I find that impressive given the feel and lack of tearing so far. Compared with previous flushable wipes we bought, these seemed noticeably cheaper, although I do not have receipts or brands from those purchases for a precise euro-per-wipe comparison. I therefore will not claim a measured percentage saving against a particular competitor.

This historical price is not today’s Amazon price. The retailer may change bundle sizes or packaging, so compare on a per-wipe basis and check that you are actually ordering 15 × 80, not 15 × 52 or a different Sensitive variety.

What does the 15 × 80 format mean for storage?

Having many individual packs is practical for regular use in a household. We can keep one open and leave the others closed until needed. I would not normally want to open several at once, especially because moisture retention depends on closing the flap properly.

The shipping carton is substantial, so a small cupboard may not be ideal for fifteen packs. In exchange, the bulk price is hard to ignore if you use wipes daily. The original photographs show the outer case and individual sealed packs rather than an unrealistic promotional render.

The pack is designed and advertised for baby skin, but my review is deliberately based on adult personal hygiene. We have not performed a baby-use test, and I would not claim that our lack of irritation predicts results for a newborn.

My transparent 4.7/5 weighted rating

I rate the product based on the things my girlfriend and I have actually experienced. The scores are subjective first-hand judgments, not lab measurements or a weighted average of Amazon customers. The short test period limits my claims about long-term pack storage.

Criterion Weight My score Reason
Value at my purchase price 30% 5.0/5 Only about 1.37 cents per wipe
Wipe strength and durability 25% 4.8/5 No tearing, feels stronger than unnamed flushable wipes tried before
Cleaning and comfort in adult use 25% 4.8/5 Comfortable, soft and effective for our main use, without observed irritation
Moisture and texture 10% 4.6/5 Neither too wet nor too dry; neutral scent
Pack opening, dispensing and closure 10% 3.6/5 Occasional double-wipe extraction and an imperfect flap

Calculation: (5.0 × 0.30) + (4.8 × 0.25) + (4.8 × 0.25) + (4.6 × 0.10) + (3.6 × 0.10) = 4.72/5, rounded to 4.7/5. This is a satisfaction rating based on adult use, not a scientific certification of baby-skin performance. See How I Test for my first-hand review standards.

Who should buy Pampers Sensitive, and who should choose something else?

Worth considering: If you want comfortable, strong, reasonably moist wipes at a low cost per piece, and are willing to dispose of used wipes in the bin. People who use wipes often and have room to store the bulk carton may get particularly good value.

Skip or look elsewhere: If you require wipes that can be flushed (these are not), have a strong preference for verified plastic-free material (my pack says it contains plastic), or want a more foolproof resealable lid. For specialised baby skin conditions or persistent irritation, consult an appropriate clinician instead of treating this adult review as medical evidence.

Would I buy these again? Yes. They meet our priorities substantially better than the unnamed flushable wipes we used previously. The occasional second wipe and closure issue are small drawbacks next to the strength and price.

Frequently asked buyer questions

Are Pampers Sensitive 15 × 80 baby wipes flushable?

No. Pampers explicitly says its baby wipes should go in the bin, not the toilet. We follow that approach, especially given previous sewer problems in our building.

Do they tear easily?

Not in our current use. We have finished one 80-wipe pack and begun the second without tearing problems. That is not a laboratory strength test of all 1,200 wipes.

How many wipes are in a bulk box?

This listing and my carton both specify fifteen individual packs of eighty: 15 × 80 = 1,200 wipes.

Are they soft and wet enough?

Yes, for us. They feel soft and have the amount of moisture we like, without seeming excessively wet. We have not observed skin irritation during adult use.

Are these wipes plastic-free?

Not the exact pack I purchased. Its wrapper clearly shows “PLASTIC IN PRODUCT.” Do not confuse it with differently labelled Pampers Sensitive plastic-free variants.

How good is the resealable flap?

Acceptable but my least favourite feature. It sometimes pulls two wipes and can leave the top wipes a little drier if the flap is not closed carefully.

How much did you pay per wipe?

I paid €16.42 for 1,200 in October 2026, which works out to around €0.0137 per wipe. Current online prices can differ.

Manufacturer product claims: Pampers Sensitive official page. For explicit waste handling, consult Pampers’ wipe disposal guidance and the German Federal Environment Agency. A Danish retailer listing confirms the 15 × 80 pack description, although regional packaging and formulation details can vary.
